The car: 1967 Ferrari 330GTC

Several words come to mind when thinking of Ferraris. “Beautiful,” “fast,” and “amazing” are a few of them. “Gap-filler” is not on that list. However, the 330 GTC debuted as one at the 1966 Geneva Auto Show. It bridged the space between the 275 GTB Berlinetta and the 330 2+2 Coupe.

According to its owner, this particular GTC is chassis number 10255. Its 300-horsepower 4-liter V12 has been rebuilt and has low mileage. What was once silver paint on its Pininfarina-designed bodywork is now red. The combination of 500 Superfast and 275 GTS styling cues, one of only six-hundred, rolls on “NOS period Michelin XWX tires,” which are wrapped around Borrani wire wheels.

NOS period tires? That could be a bit of a safety hazard rolling on 60’s rubber!

Possibly means period correct Michelin XWX’s as you can still get newly made ones from Michelin at an extortionate cost!.

A wonderful car, I’ve had the pleasure to ride in one. strangely it was a co-workers daily driver about 12 years ago.

One of the very best sixties Ferraris to drive, with it’s combination of torquey 4.0 V12 and the nimble 275 chassis. This one seems way underpriced to be in excellent condition though. Examples were topping $1m at the auctions in Monterey.
