Last week, we asked for photos featuring small cars— “tiny terrors” we called them—and over the last few days have seen a number of awesome shots submitted.

Tagged with #drivetastefully on Instagram, these photos show it’s possible to have lots of fun driving a smaller car. Next week’s theme will be…well, there’s no theme next week. We’ll just be picking our favorites tagged with—you guessed it—#drivetastefully, so hit us with your best shot…

This was my own tiny terror from last week. Been wanting to drive a Suzuki SC100GX (‘Whizzkid’) for years, and finally got a chance. Fantastic little thing – eager engine, delicate steering, sporty cockpit. Feels solidly built too. Not sure I’d want to drive any great distance in it, at least not on motorways, but it certainly feels like it’d be usable on the daily commute. Now I just need to find one for a sensible price…

Austin-Healey Frog-eye Sprite.

Wonderful car, and incredibly tiny. Had the pleasure of driving by one in New Zealand earlier this year.

I’ll tell you what my absolute hands down all time favorite Tiny Terror is . That absolutely insane Hayabusa powered FIAT X1/9 thats been terrorizing Italian hillclimb events for the past few years . Small , cute and godawful fast . Seeing that little monster in action convinces one it could out run the best Group B had to offer from back in the day . And from all reliable reports : you’d be right .

Alternatively any of the Hayabusa powered original series SMART FourTwo’s .
